[Words to Image. A random image and my thoughts on how I feel about it. What it tells me. What it shows me. What I see]
Ariel was born without the use of her eyes but possessed the uncanny ability to see beyond the restraints of what others knew. She wasn't bound by the limits of those around her. Her remaining senses worked together in harmony, creating a real-time image of the world, as it was, people, as they were, situations, and things unseen, unheard, and unknown ... as they were. A sight far beyond that of someone else, with perfect vision. It was a gift and a curse, all in one. A marriage of privilege and prison sentence. Because of this, some were amazed while others were horrified, as they scrambled to hide their sins from her. But she saw them. She saw the hearts of others. She witnessed their actions with perfect clarity. She looked deeper than what they were comfortable with. All but one.
Victor saw Ariel for who she was, what she was. And he loved her, dearly. He opened himself up to her gaze and welcomed her perspective of how she saw existence, how she saw him. Victor saw the world through her eyes and was astonished. Her ability to describe to him what she saw enhanced him to his very core. He began to see himself in a brighter light. He spent countless hours lost in her every word. Mesmerized by this new world, she shared. In love with everything that she painted within his mind. His very eyes color changed when she spoke. It was beautiful, but never enough. He lusted for more.
"See for me, my love. Teach me to see as you do. And I will teach you to love as I."
Ariel was blind but so was the world. They had eyes but refused to use them. They had hearts but saw no reason to ever share. Victor shared. She could now see love in the way it was ment to be seen. In colors. In smells. In sounds, vibrations, and touch. It was her gift from Victor. And it was beautiful. This, she could see. This, was perfect vision.
